Lead Climbing Course
General info
Required: Toprope Certificate, a climbing level of at least 5c
Structure:
– 4 lessons (each 2 hours, at Neoliet Tilburg)
– The 4th lesson includes the exam
Attendance at all 3 prior lessons is required to take the exam.
Cost:
– Student: €20 for the course (excluding entry fees at Neoliet Tilburg)
– Non-Student: €35 for the course (excluding entry fees at Neoliet Tilburg)
Course content:
– Lead belaying
– Everything about clipping quickdraws
– Rope management
– Making lead falls
– Catching lead falls
Required personal equipment:
– Harness
Other equipment (carabiners, belay device) can be borrowed free of charge from TilSAC.
Extra option:
If you think you can already do the activities that will be taught in the course you can join on the exam date. You will then pay 20 euros (Students and Non-Students) for the exam.
Important: You need to discuss this with the climbing comissioner beforehand.
