Single Pitch Course
General info
Required: Lead Certificate
Structure:
– 2 indoor lessons of 3 hours (at Neoliet Tilburg)
– 1 outdoor weekend (includes exam)
Cost:
– Student: €30 for the course (excluding entry at Neoliet Tilburg and the weekend costs)
– Non-Student: €45 for the course (excluding entry at Neoliet Tilburg and the weekend costs)
Estimated weekend cost: approx. €50 p.p. (This can vary)
Course content:
– Converting a lead route to a top rope setup
– Single anchor cleaning
– Double anchor cleaning
– Abseiling (rappelling)
– Retreating from a single bolt
Required personal equipment:
– Harness
– Climbing shoes
– Prusik cord (1 meter)
– Sling (120 cm) OR personal anchor
Other equipment (carabiners, belay device, helmet) can be borrowed free of charge from TilSAC.
Extra option:
If you already master the skills covered in the course, you can choose to only join the outdoor weekend and exam.
Cost: €15 (same for students and non-students) + weekend costs
Important: You must discuss this option with the climbing commissioner in advance.
